BEAVER PONDS

Beavers rarely rest, sometimes seen still working during twilight hours. Winter is never too far away and the park's largest rodents are always busy preparing for it. A great deal of time is spent chiseling aspen trees, hauling logs, trimming and fitting branches in order to construct a suitable lodge or dam.
