The contrasting white snow decorating the red and pink rocks in Zion National Park can be both stunning and informative. Elusive wildlife, whose secret life normally escapes us, becomes highly visible in the winter because of tracks left in the snow. Extending over an area of 229 square miles, Zion exposes an incredible collection of rock formations.
