DINOSAUR NATIONAL MONUMENT

Where are the dinosaurs? They were here about 140 million years ago. Evidence of them still exists in eroded canyons and sandstone slabs. Yet, Dinosaur National Monument offers vistas of arid landscapes channeled by the meandering Yampa River, which continues to uncover more strata for scientists to study.
