Dinosaur National Monument

A secluded canyon of Dinosaur National Monument, Echo Park is where the Yampa River and Green River join. European exploration into this Uinta Basin began in 1776, but it was not until the late 1800's hardy pioneers arrived. One eccentric hermit, Pat Lynch, staked his claim in a remote haunt called Pat's Hole - later named Echo Park.
