Decorated with pond lilies, this alpine lake is discovered in the High Uintas. Butterfly Lake is one of the numerous lakes found within this relatively unspoiled wilderness region. Located in Northeastern Utah, the heavily timbered Uinta Mountains are the highest range in the state and the only one that extends east-west in America.
