Considered one of the most beautiful peaks in the Cascade Range, Mount Shuksan is artistically reflected into Picture Lake. The mountain rises to an elevation of 9,127 feet and is laden with alpine glaciers. Ruggedly sculptured granite, Mount Shuksan is a result of an upthrust 10 million years old that was eroded by wind and glacial action.
