Wood Nymph

This single delight of a flower, the wood nymph, is a member of the Wintergreen Family. It has a whitish saucer-shaped flower that is slightly nodding. The five petals surround a swollen green-ish center. A rather secretive plant, the wood nymph hides in moist coniferous forests mixed within the undergrowth.
