WHITETAIL DEER

Venturing from the edge of the woods for a late afternoon drink, two whitetail deer are alerted by an unexpected sound. Whitetails are elusive animals that flash their snowy white tails as they bound from danger. They rarely browse out of their home range, which may only extend over an area with a mile radius.
