Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid would "hole up" in this territory — maybe that is why no one could ever track them! Canyonlands is a maze of blind canyons. At a place called Grand Wash, there is an old dugout cabin that was believed to be the hideout of these colorful outlaws, the "Wild Bunch."
