One of the largest natural lakes in Yosemite, Tenaya Lake is set as a jeweled sapphire within the High Sierras. Tioga Pass displays an extensive granite kingdom that was sculptured by glacial action during the last Ice Age. The embedded granite solidified over millions of years beneath mountains of molten rock.
