The Sierra Country is a vast panoramic land of high deserts and magnificent mountain scenery. It is an untamed territory rich in colorful western adventures. Here, cowboys, such as Hopalong Cassidy, became legends portraying the western roughneck ways. He was made famous for his shootouts and get-away scenes among the Alabama Hills of the High Sierras.
